ALUTRINT AND Trinidad Generation Unlimited will
jointly host two public meetings to present the
findings of an environment impact assessment for
the proposed Union Estate Power Station.
Alutrint, acting on behalf of TGU, has applied
for a Certificate of Environmental Clearance for
the construction and operation of a 720MW (mega
watt) combined cycle, air cooled, power generation
plant. The proposed plant is to be built on 16
hectares of land at Main Site South, Union Industrial
Estate, La Brea.
The meetings are to be held on March 5 and 11
at the National Energy Skills Training Centre Vessigny
Village, La Brea.
