Minister visits BG T&T

Minister
of Energy and Energy Industries Conrad Enill,
recently visited the head office of BG T&T
at St Clair Avenue in Port-of-Spain.
Enill
held a number of business meetings with BG T&T president Derek Hudson, the rest of
the BG T&T leadership team and other senior
members of staff.
BG
T&T shared with the minister information
on the company’s current operations and its
plans for 2008 and beyond. In addition, the minister
visited the newly established operations support
centre, which has been set up to focus on production
optimisation for the company.
Enill
said he considered it very important that he
go out and visit the companies in the energy
sector to better understand each organisation’s
vision and plans so that his ministry could provide
effective support.
Thanking the minister for his visit, Hudson said
that the open discussion with the ministry was
a positive step towards partnering in the development
and progress of the energy industry and the nation
as a whole.
